After the successful 1st Certificate in Building and Facilities Management (CBFM) held last August to October 2021, the MaPSA Commission on Human Resource Management & Development (CHRMD) in partnership with St. Scholastica’s College Manila (SSCM) Center for Continuing Education and Development, this year, 2023, it is with much hope and enthusiasm that we inform you of the forthcoming Certificate in Building and Facilities Management (CBFM) 2.0.
 
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the key concepts and ideas regarding facilities management within smart technology, electrical and mechanical systems, and fire and biohazard safety. It aims to equip its participants' competencies and skills required to understand building and facilities maintenance which is key in identifying issues and providing solutions for proper and efficient handling of physical assets. In particular, this program focuses on relevant topics essential to school buildings and facilities management in post-pandemic situations.
 
At the end of the program, the participants are expected to:

  1. be equipped with comprehensive building and facilities management knowledge, particularly in a school setting;
  2. acquire necessary skills in identifying problems, providing solutions, and developing plans and strategies related to physical asset maintenance and management;
  3. be updated on current trends, demands, and requirements essential to building and facilities management; and
  4. display the ability to review, analyze, and improve services and processes related to building and facilities management

 
May we, then, invite your school’s Physical Plant and General Services Head to join this program. An ON-LINE Registration through this link, bit.ly/mscbfm2023  should be accomplished ON OR BEFORE Thursday, 13 April 2023. To defray expenses pertinent to this certificate program, a corresponding fee of three thousand five hundred (Php 3,500) pesos shall be charged per participant for the program. This covers speakers’ honoraria, materials, zoom platform, and sundries for the duration of the whole conference.
