The MaPSA Commission on Human Resource-Continuing Education (CHR-CE) in partnership with St. Scholastica’s College Manila (SSCM) Center for Continuing Education and Development conducted a series of meetings and discussed the expansion and exploration of possible programs for our school personnel that shall benefit our respective schools. SSCM recently inaugurated Certificate in Building and Facilities Management originally organized for private companies which is now adjusted in a school setting to accommodate schools that needed improvement of their school’s facilities. The upkeep and management of school facilities such as classrooms, buildings, or offices are vital in the school’s operation as they set a good learning environment to our students and stakeholders. Thus, the rationale of a new certificate program, the Certificate in Building and Facilities Management.
